Regarding the closing of SDMS window for uploading Bank Accounts Details

The Ministry has approved a window of 5 days period starting 16th June, 2016 8 AM  through  21st June ,2016 8 AM for uploading the bank accounts details of candidates on SDMS.This deadline is applicable only for PMKVY fresh training. Please ensure that only correct bank account details are uploaded on the SDMS. Candidates with incorrect bank account details will have no scope of corrections at the later date . No amount shall be disbursed to such candidates.

Selection Criteria for TOT

Lead Trainer :

·  10-12th passed with 8-10 years continuous construction experience OR ITI certification in civil trades with minimum 6-8 years of work experience in construction.

·  or Level 4 CSDCI certification in at least 2 of the core Rural Mason QP job roles, e.g. masonry, FWC, bar bending, etc., OR able to pass RPL level 4 in 2 job relevant job roles.

·  2 years of teaching/training experience OR 2 years of construction site supervisor experience.

·  Good Hindi writing skills, Good communication and applied maths skills

Impossible to skill 500 million by 2022 under old policy: Rajiv Pratap Rudy

NEW DELHI: As the government prepares a new Skill Development Policy, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy today said it is “impossible to achieve” the target of skilling 500 million people by 2022 as envisaged under the existing policy announced in 2009 during the UPA regime.
“There was a National Skill Policy which was announced in 2009. The 2009 policy talked about training 500 million people. When I took over, I saw these numbers and I said Thank You. It is almost impossible to achieve,” Rudy said at an IIT Delhi event here.

Mandatory Elements for PMKVY 2.0

1. The following will be mandatory and will be ensured by all Training Partners participating in PMKVY 2.0 at their Training Centres where the Training will be executed.

Biometric attendance.
Mandatory Aadhar- Students, Assessors and Trainers.

2. There would not be any exceptions to this rule and Training centers with the above would only be allowed to participate.
