We, at Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI), are exploring options to provide Group Health Insurance coverage to our employees and their families as part of our employee benefits program.

We would appreciate it if you could provide a comprehensive proposal covering the following:

  • Scope of coverage (in-patient, pre/post hospitalization, maternity, etc.)
  • Family Floater Sum insured – 5 lakhs
  • 1 Proper Master health check-up for each employee
  • Pre-existing disease covered
  • Room rent is 2% of the sum insured for normal and 4% of the sum insured for ICU
  • Maternity coverage- Rs. 80,000/- for normal and Rs. 1,00,000 for caesarean, and a 9-month waiting period is waived off
  • Day care covered
  • Ambulance covered
  • Mid-term addition of a new joining employee, newly wedded spouse, and newborn baby
  • Add-on covers (dental, vision, outpatient, critical illness, etc.)
  • OPD benefits per employee family – Rs 15,000
  • Claim settlement process and TAT
  • Value-added services (wellness programs, health check-ups, etc.)

Meeting with MSDE and NSDC

A meeting with MSDE and NSDC was held on 4th July 2025 at Kaushal Bhawan regarding the “Review of PM Vishwakarma Advanced Contents”. Contents were reviewed by all industry experts and a few Trainers from Mason Job roles from ITI, Pusa, and ITI, Gurgaon.
For our sector, there are no major changes except a few minor updates in some books.
The contents created are well accepted by the representatives, particularly the Tools which are going to be used in the Advanced Module

Proposal for RTA – Dematerialisation of shares – CSDCI

CSDCI invites proposals from eligible and qualified SEBI-registered Registrar & Transfer Agents (RTAs) to undertake the dematerialisation of shares. The selected RTA will provide end-to-end support in completing the compliance process in coordination with NSDL/CDSL and ensure successful dematerialisation by the stated deadline.

Last date of submission: 20th June 2025, any proposal received after 5 PM on 20th June 2025 will be summarily rejected.

CSDCI Hosts Workshop on Skilling Construction Workers at Job Sites

New Delhi, January 21, 2025—The Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI) successfully organized a transformative workshop on “Skilling Construction Workers at Job Sites and Its Benefits to the Industry,” which focused on empowering the construction workforce and enhancing industry collaboration.

The event brought together key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), Construction Federation of India (CFI), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and over 20 leading construction companies such as Larsen & Toubro (L&T), KEC International, and Brigade Group. The workshop highlighted the importance of on-site skilling, adopting the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS), and leveraging CSR funding for impactful training programs.

A CSDCI spokesperson remarked, “On-site skilling bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, building a stronger workforce and driving national progress”. The workshop concluded with a unanimous commitment from all participants to advance skilling initiatives, ensuring the Indian construction industry remains globally competitive and future-ready.

CSDCI Shines at PMVK’s 1st Anniversary Celebration in Wardha

The Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI) participated in the grand celebration of the 1st anniversary of the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Kaushal (PMVK) program in Wardha. Organized by the Ministries of MSME, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and NSDC, the event saw the presence of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Shri Jayant Singh Chaudhary, Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

During the event, Minister Chaudhary visited the CSDCI pavilion, where he interacted with master trainers and explored CSDCI’s latest tools designed for skill enhancement. The council reiterated its commitment to empowering India’s workforce with quality training, aligning closely with PMVK’s mission to support skill upgradation for Vishwakarma nationwide.

We are thrilled to share our 2nd G20 event

Our second event in the G20 series took place on June 13th, featuring an exciting Quiz Competition exclusively for degree and diploma students at Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers. The enthusiasm and participation displayed by the students were truly commendable, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff and volunteers for their unwavering efforts in making the event a resounding success.

We are immensely grateful for the invaluable support provided by Karan Desai, Chief Operations Officer, and Saiyyed Akarbali, Project Operations Manager – Skill Cluster at Rustomjee. Their contributions and dedication were instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of the event.

Special recognition goes to Rajeev Gokhale for his technical expertise in overseeing the technical round for the Automobile students. His guidance and involvement added a layer of excellence to the competition, further enhancing the experience for the participants.

We are delighted to announce that Jagadish Parekh from the Electricals category emerged as the proud winner, achieving the highest score in the final G20 awareness round. His remarkable performance reflects his dedication and knowledge in the field.

We congratulate Jagadish Parekh and commend all participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm throughout the Quiz Competition. It is through such events that we can promote awareness, ignite curiosity, and foster a passion for skill development among the youth.

CSDCI at “10th National Skill Summit”

We were deeply honored to participate in the esteemed “10th National Skill Summit,” which took place on June 2nd at the prestigious PHD House in New Delhi. One of the key highlights of the event was the presence of Mr. Narendra Deshpande, CEO of the Construction Skill Development Council of India (CSDCI), who served as a distinguished Key Speaker.
