IndiaSkills Competition is the country’s largest biennial skill-based competition, organized by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India, and implemented by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)—the apex organization for skill development in India.

The competition is designed to showcase the highest standards of skill excellence and provides a platform for young individuals to demonstrate their talents at the national level. Winners from IndiaSkills become eligible to represent the country at the WorldSkills Competition, held every two years in a different country on the global stage.

Held biennially, both at the regional and national levels, the IndiaSkills Competition is conducted with the support of State Governments, Industry Partners, Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), State Skill Development Missions (SSDMs), Corporates, and Partner Institutes. With its widespread reach, the competition holds the potential to engage youth at the grassroots level and create a lasting impact on the skilling ecosystem in India.
