The WorldSkills competition is the world’s largest technical and vocational competition and is held every two years in different parts of the world.
WorldSkills movement has become much more than the international competition. This competition is equivalent to Olympic Games for skills amongst youth across the world. This organization is helping young people around the world to turn their passion into a profession through vocational skills.
Competitors begin their development at local, regional, and national competitions, before representing their country and region at the international level.

WorldSkills India
As part of the Skill India mission, WorldSkills India is an initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. NSDC, through its WorldSkills India initiative, has been leading the
country’s participation at WorldSkills International competitions since 2011.
The Indian contingent to be participating in WorldSkills Shanghai 2022 is yet to be finalized.
